At Metrohm Construction, safety and compliance are the foundation of everything we do. Our Safety Philosophy

We believe that every accident is preventable. That belief drives our proactive approach to job site safety, where planning, training, and accountability work hand in hand to protect our people, clients, subcontractors, and the communities where we operate.


Key Elements of Our Safety Program

  1. OSHA Compliance

    All of our work strictly adheres to the standards set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Our supervisors and workers undergo regular training to stay current on the latest OSHA regulations and best practices.

  2. Certified Training Programs

    We provide mandatory safety training and certifications for all employees, including:

    • OSHA 10 & 30-Hour Training
    • Fall Protection
    • First Aid/CPR
    • Confined Space Entry
    • Scaffolding & Ladder Safety
    • Hazard Communication (HAZCOM)

  3. Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs)

    Before a shovel hits the ground, we develop detailed, project-specific safety plans that identify risks, mitigation strategies, emergency procedures, and inspection schedules tailored to each unique work environment.

  4. Daily Safety Meetings

    We conduct daily toolbox talks and weekly site safety meetings to discuss job-specific hazards, reinforce safety protocols, and encourage open dialogue among team members.

  5. Equipment Inspections & PPE Enforcement

    We perform regular inspections of all equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure safe operation. Full use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory on all job sites.

We regularly review and update our safety protocols based on jobsite feedback, regulatory changes, and incident data. Our Safety Officer works closely with leadership and field teams to identify trends, eliminate hazards, and drive continuous improvement.
